CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT - Urgently Hiring

NorthStar alarm is urgently hiring for Customer Service Agents at our Orem, Utah Corporate Office. We have several open positions with multiple shifts available.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will use your excellent customer service agent skills to answer customer calls and inquiries and assist our customers with their home security and automation accounts. Prior customer service experience is helpful, but more important is a friendly, professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic. We will train you! Just show up with a positive attitude and willingness to provide excellent service.

WHAT THE IDEAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT NEEDS TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

Fluent in English, both verbal and written (bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus)

Customer Service experience

High school diploma or Equivalent

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to handle difficult situations and escalated customer calls

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Comfortable using a computer and learning our software platforms

Ability to type 40 WPM

Strong work ethic

Positive attitude

Excellent attendance

Ability to multi-task

Regular and predictable on-site attendance

WHAT WILL HELP YOU EXCEL AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT (NOT REQUIRED):

Basic understanding of NorthStar or connected home industry

Prior telephone customer service experience

Ability to relate with customers

Obsessed with giving our customers the BEST service

Desire to join a team and continue making NorthStar an awesome place to work

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT COMPENSATION:

  • $13.00-14/hour+ Depending on Experience and Position Offered
  • On average, $1-$3/hr commission pay
  • Commissionable opportunities to earn $25+/hr
  • Full-time and Part-time shifts available - Mornings, evenings, flexible schedules available
