Job Description Job Description Import/Wholesale Distributor is looking for a Class-B CDL Delivery Driver to join its team. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following: Reliable attendance, punctuality, and good time management skills. Assist warehouse team and customers with the loading and unloading of materials. Ensure timely and successful completion of deliveries. Full-time schedule with the ability to work occasional longer shifts and overnight travel as needed. Follow federal and company safety procedures. Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management. Demonstrate proper driving habits. Maintain proper paperwork and accurate electronic logbook. Performs other related duties as required. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Driving and operating a variety of commercial vehicles. Operate forklift and other hand tools. Basic math and organization skills. Excellent customer service skills. Safety conscious. Familiarity with primary roads and neighborhoods and ability to use GPS navigational devices. Able to safely perform manual physical tasks such as lift 40-60 pounds on daily basis; occasionally lift 80-100 pounds. Able to effectively communicate in English. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Education and/or Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Valid and current state driver’s license - CDL Class B with air brakes. Two (2) or more years previous commercial driving experience. Maintain a current and valid DOT physical card. Must pass DOT drug test Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report Must provide valid Medical Card Must pass basic physical test Must provide valid CDL Forklift experience; Certified Forklift Operator preferred.
