Description:The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the
overall direction and execution of the company's HR strategies and
operations. This role involves managing all aspects of the Human
Resources function, including recruiting, talent management,
payroll, and compliance, while aligning HR initiatives with
business objectives. You will collaborate with executive management
to deliver effective and impactful HR services that drive employee
engagement, talent retention, and organizational success. The HR
Manager will also work with senior-level roles in the company to
provide assistance and direction for personnel management.
Requirements:RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Source and screen candidates for open positions
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications
- Extend offers of employment and manage the onboarding
process
- Prepare and maintain accurate employee records
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including
health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary
benefits
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and questions in a timely and
professional manner
- Conduct investigations as needed and take appropriate
action
- Provide guidance on company policies and procedures
- Assist with performance management processes, including
performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential
compliance issues
- Oversee the administration and implementation of HR policies
and procedures to maintain a compliant and fair workplace
- Payoll:
- Process payroll
- Ensure state payroll requirements are set up correctly
- HR Projects:
- Participate in various HR projects, such as employee engagement
initiatives, training programs, and policy development.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting.REQUIRED
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal
skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environmentQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration,
or a related field
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5
years in a managerial role
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is
preferred
- Proficiency with HR software
