opportunity. We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking
Corporate Crisis Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the
crisis management program under the Office of Enterprise Business
Resilience. As the Corporate Crisis Manager, you will be at the
forefront of ensuring the preparedness, response, and recovery of
our organization during times of crisis or business disruption.
Your leadership, experience and expertise will be instrumental in
safeguarding our reputation, minimizing operational disruptions,
and maintaining the trust of our clients and stakeholders. The
successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication
skills to effectively translate recovery priorities into
action-oriented plans, programs, and testing strategies. The ideal
candidate will be able to demonstrate strategic thinking,
exceptional facilitation and coordination skills, with the ability
to effectively align crisis management activities with those of the
broader Enterprise Business Resilience program. This is an

adversity. This role offers a 3/2 Hybrid work schedule and may be
in Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, or Las
Vegas. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement comprehensive crisis management strategies
that encompass various potential scenarios, ensuring our ability to
effectively respond and recover. Collaborate with executive
leadership to align crisis strategies with the overall business
objectives.
- Respond in the midst of stressful circumstances created by
crisis events, effectively leading and supporting senior and
executive leaders through difficult and challenging
situations.
- Lead the creation of crisis response plans, protocols, and
playbooks that are agile, effective, and adaptable to evolving
situations.
- Organize regular crisis simulations and training exercises to
ensure our teams are equipped to respond with confidence under
high-pressure situations.
- Serve as a focal point for crisis management efforts, liaising
with IT, legal, communications, HR, and other relevant departments.
Foster collaborative relationships to ensure a coordinated and
cohesive response during crisis events.
- Develop a corporate crisis management training and exercise
platform to drive awareness, assess capabilities, elevate
operational preparedness, and identify opportunities for
improvement.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential crisis
triggers, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats. Develop strategies
to proactively mitigate risks and enhance our organization's
overall resilience.
- Lead the response to crisis events, coordinating with teams to
execute predefined protocols. Provide real-time guidance, assess
evolving situations, and make strategic decisions to minimize
impact and ensure swift recovery.
- Manage crisis communications, both internally and externally,
to provide accurate, timely, and transparent information.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop effective
messaging that maintains trust and transparency.
- Drive after action efforts to analyze the effectiveness of
crisis response efforts. Use data-driven insights to identify
opportunities for improvement and implement actionable strategies
to enhance our crisis management capabilities.
- Deliver executive reporting on the state of the crisis
management program, initiatives underway, and lessons learned.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and industry
standards related to crisis management and business continuity.
Ensure our crisis management plans adhere to relevant regulations
and guidelines. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Communications,
or related field.
- Proven experience with 6 years in crisis management leadership,
business continuity, emergency and incident and crisis planning and
response.
- Extensive knowledge of crisis management frameworks,
methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, analysis, and
mitigation strategies.
- Expert analytical, leadership, organizational, communication
skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to remain
composed under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey
complex information clearly and confidently.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven
track record of guiding cross-functional teams during crisis
events.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and maintaining positive
relationships with clients, regulators, and other
stakeholders.
- Experience in developing crisis communications and coordinating
with media relations during high-stress situations.
- High level of adaptability and flexibility to navigate rapidly
changing environments.
- A combination of education and experience may meet
qualifications. Salary Range
- This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of
$110,000 - $145,000 annually depending on job-related factors such
as level of experience and location Benefits:
