Forward Pathology Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of HCA, is recruiting for a Market Medical Director of Pathology Services to oversee pathology services at Timpanogos and Mountain View Hospital.
The Market Medical Director provides leadership and guidance for market initiatives within the Pathology group. The position includes approximately 20% Administrative and 80% Anatomic/Clinical sign out responsibilities.Duties and Responsibilities Include
Manages the medical directors and associate pathologists in the Mountain Division Market to include scheduling oversight, performance monitoring, mentoring, coaching, recruitment and quality review oversight
Facilitates achievement of annual quality and efficiency goals for pathology services in the market
Assesses test utilization patterns, performance improvement data, quality control data, regulatory and accreditation standards, process improvement and medical staff satisfaction
Professional oversight of clinical pathology processes and procedures
Collaborate with laboratory administration to ensure compliance with CAP guidelines
QualificationsAP/CP Board Certification required
3-5 years hospital-based Medical Director Experience required
Must have previous Medical Directorship leadership experience
Utah licensed or FCVS in place
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience managing a large groupAbout Timpanogos Regional Hospital:
