Job Description:

Job Title: Human Resources ManagerSupervisor: Human Resources DirectorJob Summary: Provides support for the areas of employee relations, talent development, employment law compliance, onboarding, H-2B process, reports/data mining, employee engagement, and employee life cycle management.Duties and Responsibilities:Manages employee relations issues, including investigation, ensuring proper documentation, and partnering with managers to achieve a favorable resolution. The incumbent will establish strong relationships with managers to address issues proactively and early, prior to further escalation.Supports talent development programs, including succession planning, early career, front-line leaders, and key positions training.Assists with the training design and delivery across the organizationCoordinates and leads all Sunpro's recruitment, community relations and attraction, and retention activitiesManages college/schools' relationshipsEnsures employment law compliance, by maintaining current working knowledge of employment law in intermountain states as neededRuns reports and data mining, maintains compliance with government requests i.e. EEO, conducts data analysis for trends and supports Sunpro's data integrity endeavorscoordinates the onboarding process including pre-hire paperwork, orientation, new hire training and assimilation, accelerating time to productivity.Administers the employee engagement survey; partners with the HR Director to distribute results and lead action planning; support a winning culture through engagement initiativesManages and/or coordinates the employee life cycle, including leave events, benefits enrollment, job assignment modifications, terminations, etc. Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with relevant laws.Assists with the H-2B process, including forecasting process, preparing pre-arrival documentation, conducting, or coordinating on-boarding activities (In Spanish) and addressing other H-2B activities as neededAdministers employee recognition programsOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in human resources, sociology, business administration, or related field.6+ years' experience in human resources, need experience as a generalist or HR managerSpanish speaking requiredIndividual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Professional Human Resource (PHR) or (SPHR) Certification preferred.Requires excellent communication skills, written and oral.Ability to develop strong working relationshipsStrong initiative and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing demandsLimited travel is required (less than 10%)Must have insurable driving record
