sector is looking for a Director of Sentinel Systems Integration
and Sustainment- Systems Engineering Director 2 in our SDS Division
headquarters in Roy, Utah. This role may offer a competitive
relocation assistance package. What You Will Get To Do: Lead the
Sentinel Systems Integration and Sustainment (SIS) Operating Unit,
reporting to the Vice President for Systems Engineering,
Integration, and Test (SEIT). The Sentinel strategic missile
program is one of the largest and most complex system integration
projects in history, with hundreds of missiles, hundreds of
operating facilities, millions of lines of code, thousands of
support equipment and training devices, and hundreds of technical
training programs to enable industry and USAF operate and maintain
the system without fail in the most challenging conditions. A
successful SIS Director will provide the experience and vision to
drive extremely diverse system-level integration and sustainment
plans for hardware and software delivered by dozens of product
teams, and the mature judgment to navigate complex technical and
program interfaces across NG system segments, the acquisition
customer, and other government mission partners. Responsibilities
include the following areas: Systems Integration and Sustainment
Operating Unit Leadership Build and manage a 250 person team
distributed across multiple national sites Lead workforce,
cost/schedule, and technical functions - Profit & Loss
accountability Partner with senior Air Force officers to jointly
manage priorities Lead and execute special assignments and internal
R&D projects System Functional Capability Integration Oversee
strategic roadmap and system engineering definition translating
abstract mission functions to incremental Integrated Functional
Capabilities combining flight, ground, and test hardware and
software developed by federated product teams. Design Integration
Oversee strategy and execution of product lifecycle data standards
and management of massive design data and end item data sets across
product teams and suppliers – effective for EMD, production, and
sustainment extending decades into the future Build a team to
facilitate product design package release process, product
effectivity, and interfaces with production scheduling Oversee
configuration data and change management teams to control complex
technical and compliance baselines across multiple product segments
and suppliers Enterprise Integration Oversee collaboration with
Government program office, mission partners, and other contractors
in enterprise-level CONOPS maturation and joint risk management
Collaborate with the USAF customer and other Government mission
partners to define and drive interoperability development of
external national systems interfacing with Sentinel, from
requirements to successful multi-segment operational testing.
Orchestrate formal operational certification strategy across
engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, deployment, test, and
field support teams. Support & Training Integration Oversee joint
Product Support planning with USAF, spanning interim contractor
support enabling early operational capability, through transition
to USAF sustainment over a decades-long life cycle. Work with
Northrop Grumman product teams to validate support equipment
designs from missile transporters to ground testers. Oversee
development of training programs, technical orders, and training
devices from launch console simulators to weapon system mockups to
train field maintainers. Collaborate with USAF to develop logistics
database systems and processes enabling tracking and control of
millions of weapon system parts over the life cycle, from
development to production to fielding and eventual re-procurement.

standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows
employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take
every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive
relocation assistance package. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s
degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
and a minimum 10 years of engineering experience or MS degree and 8
years of related engineering experience. Minimum of 5 years in
leadership. Experience with Profit & Loss accountability and earned
value management Experience in Agile development, processes, and
tools Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been
completed within last 5 years Preferred Qualifications: ICBM
experience Demonstrated effectiveness in coordinating joint
integration efforts across federated teams of product developers,
subcontractors, Government program office, and Government partner
agencies. Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through
managing people and understanding and management of internal
processes and customer/supplier relationships. Experience leading
the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all
requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or
cost account manager Prior experience interfacing with prime
contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel Model-Based
Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience Strong understanding and
broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards,
configuration management, process control, facilities, software,
etc.) Strong oral and written communication skills, including
demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations,
with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing
priorities Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in
uncertain and difficult situations Strong sense of urgency and work
ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program
expectations in a timely and efficient manner Active DoD TS/SCI
clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $230,000.00 - $345,000.00 The
above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
