Utah Transit AuthorityJob SummaryParticipates in related technical instruction and attends classroom instruction as required and passes written tests. This is a competency based program. Competency in the following 10 modules must be demonstrated within the time allotted; Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Air Systems, Air Suspension, Steering and Axles, HVAC/EAC. Wheelchairs, Transmissions and Engines. Perform manual tasks under supervision as needed. Assist advance-skill employees in complex repairs and component rebuild using hand and power tools as directed. Performs preventative maintenance inspections and associated repairs. Ask for details!*Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age Have a current, or be able to acquire a class B CDL with passenger endorsement within 60 days of eligibility.Successful candidates must haveALLof the following:A current, or be able to acquire, valid Class B CDL drivers license and associated endorsements.Able to pass both an aptitude and standardized test determined by UTA. Employees will be able take both of these tests on UTA time.
