The Role:
The computer-aided designer (CAD) will help build out designs in the virtual world so Solgen Power install crews can learn how to construct them in the physical one. You will create 2D designs and electrical diagram for residential solar installation utilizing AutoCAD. The CAD should be comfortable collaborating with technical staff. For example, they may need to explain specifications to electricians so they can better understand how to set up the wiring.
Salary: $20-$25
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use software to create detailed 2D designs for complex projects.
• Create electrical diagrams
• Work with multiple States and cities.
• Collaborate with co-workers and energy consultants to verify requests and timelines and solve problems.
• Evaluate electrical systems.
• Ability to analyze data and situations and come up with creative solutions.
• Keep up to date on industry standards.
• Provide technical help for install crews as needed. Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be able to use AutoCAD or a similar program.
  • Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast and high-demand work environment.
  • Knowledge of the company's preferred software or ability to learn.
  • Make decisions based on designs.
  • Strong communication skills.
