Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Orem, UT.



Summary:

The objective of this position is to provide operational support to the enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This is achieved by designing, implementing, and supporting various local area network (LAN) and wide area networking (WAN) technologies within a large and diverse enterprise network environment.



Essential Job Functions:

• Senior Network Engineer will design, configure, install, monitor, and support various networking hardware and software solutions that support business applications
  
  
• Monitor the network environment and alerts to maintain high availability and system performance
  
  
• Lead the planning, configuration and installation of various network infrastructure technologies including switching, routing, firewalling, and VPN
  
  
• Evaluate new technologies, compile comparative data, and make recommendations to management for improved systems performance and availability
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical problems in a complex network environment
  
  
• Respond to after-hours reports of major problems as required
  
  
• As a Senior Network Engineer, you will assist in the continuous design, configuration and implementation of enterprise network security systems, policies, and mechanisms
  
  
• Assist in the definition and implementation of security policies and procedures
  
  
• Ensure corporate data security and integrity
