Job Description Job Description We're Hiring: HEAT Eligibility Worker | $18.80/hour Amazing Benefits! Location: Salt Lake City Area | Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (on-site) | Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Non-Exempt Do you enjoy empowering others to reach their full potential? A Day in the Life: Determine client eligibility for HEAT utility and water assistance in compliance with Federal, State, and UCA policies Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support, educating clients on budgeting and energy-saving strategies Manage and monitor caseloads to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Refer clients to appropriate internal and community resources Assist with other program functions such as application editing, mentoring, or training as needed Use strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and accountability Communicate effectively with clients and community partners from diverse backgrounds, representing the agency professionally Utilize proficiency in internet-based systems and standard computer applications to complete work efficiently Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Work independently and collaboratively, remaining open to feedback and committed to team success What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED MS Office Experience Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required) Associate's or bachelor's Degree Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic preferred) Travel & Flexibility This position regularly travels along the Wasatch Front, and the employee will be required to provide reliable transportation.
