Job Description Job Description Tax Manager (Hybrid) Provo, Utah | Hybrid Schedule Full-Time | CPA Preferred About the Role We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate is a proactive tax professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction, and who is ready to take ownership of engagements while mentoring junior team members. What You’ll Do Manage and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing high-quality tax planning and advisory services Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Supervise, mentor, and review work of senior and staff accountants Stay current on tax law changes and proactively identify opportunities for clients Collaborate with leadership on workflow, process improvement, and client strategy What We’re Looking For 5 years of public accounting tax experience CPA license strongly preferred (or actively working toward licensure) Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation Experience managing multiple engagements and deadlines Excellent communication and client-facing skills Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members Experience with common tax software and accounting tools Why Join Us Hybrid work environment with flexibility Competitive compensation and benefits package Supportive, team-oriented culture Opportunity for career growth and leadership development Exposure to a diverse client base and meaningful advisory work
