Are you ready to work? We are seeking an Accounting entry-level professional to temporarily join our team!A rapidly growing organization in Utah is hiring an Accounting Clerk! A successful candidate will have a great work ethic and an understanding of accounting processes. This position will contribute to providing timely & accurate information and assisting with answering billing or accounting questions for other departments. We are seeking someone who is organized, reliable, and hard working. This would be temporary with the potential of becoming permanent. Flexible.Location: Orem, UT on-siteStart date: ASAPResponsibilities Include:Work with team of controller and other accounting tempsApply Accounts Receivable payments as they come inManage requests from sales team for credit memosAssist in clean-up of accountingHelp to close 2021 AuditInternal Audit preparationLearn internal system and make improvementsAssist in revamping AR processes and proceduresPrepare journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliationsAssist with the needs and inquiries of other departments, answer questions, research issues, and problem solveComplete special projects as assignedReconcile bank accountsRequirements:Available to start immediatelyGeneral Ledger ExperienceAccounting clerk experience preferredAccounting background or schoolingGeneral computer knowledgeAttention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with Microsoft software systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsGood communication skills and public relations skillsAbility to work individually and as a team memberAbility to demonstrate honesty and maintain confidentialityAccounting software experience & ability to test systems and procedures for accuracyThere is a possibility to join the team permanently, after the temporary position and needs have been filled!
